- ➤ Gardening expert Neil Sperry answered local readers’ questions on caring for a persimmon tree with coiled roots, addressing dying shrub problems caused by possible scale insects, and helping a Meyer lemon tree bear fruit by suggesting repotting and improved sunlight.
