Brett Carr returned to Tatum to coach the girls’ basketball team — he replaces Patricia Nelson, who retired after a record of more than 500 wins. Carr, known for leading the boys to five state tournaments, said he is honored to build on the legacy after the school reached out this morning.
STAAR test results are coming out this week; high school scores were released on June 10 and grades three through eight will be posted on June 16. Parents can view results online (access codes appear on report cards).
