Almost 300 community members gathered Saturday at Teague Park for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, raising about $54,000 toward the $63,000 goal.
Participants carried artificial flowers to represent their connection to the cause (blue for patients, purple for lost loved ones, yellow for caregivers, and orange for supporters).
