Winona ISD welcomed students back to class last Tuesday under new Superintendent Justin Cowart—who aims to boost enrollment by about 50 students, increase extracurricular involvement, and improve testing scores.

The Texas House will vote today on a redistricting plan that reduces District 1 from 17 counties to 12, which means Rep.
