- ➤ Buckner International launched its annual Shoes for Orphan Souls drive in Longview and has asked local organizations to register as drop off spots for new socks and closed-toe shoes. - ➤ AAA Texas said gas prices are at their lowest in Texas since 2021—drivers in Amarillo pay an average of $2.62 per gallon while prices near Dallas-Fort Worth average $2.95, which is 35 cents lower than last year despite a small increase from last week. The national average is now $3.17 per gallon, 37 cents lower than last year, easing costs for summer travel. KETK
