- ➤ The East Texas Food Bank received $2 million from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas for nutrition support and a $7,500 donation from Peltier Ford after Peltier Fest on May 24—helping feed families in need. A check presentation was held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the Longview Resource Center. KETK

- ➤ Longview’s First United Methodist Church is hosting free tours of its stained glass windows this Sunday with longtime member Bettye Craddock leading two tours at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.—the windows, crafted in the early 1950s, tell the story of Christ’s life—and the event will serve cake and refreshments in the welcome center.
