- ➤ On Memorial Day, residents in Payne Springs faced severe storms that caused a tree limb to strike a home’s roof—leaving more than 13,000 customers without power—though no one was hurt. KETK
- ➤ A CHRISTUS EMS unit was traveling in Kilgore when rising floodwater trapped its ambulance and the crew promptly exited, with no patients aboard and nobody hurt — the team is now being evaluated and operations will continue as usual. KETK
