- ➤ The city of Longview and the Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Memorial Day ceremony tomorrow at 8 a.m. at Teague Park Veterans Memorial, 411 American Legion Blvd — featuring a wreath placement by local Scouts, a firing team tribute, and performances of the national anthem and Amazing Grace by local artists. - ➤ The Ark-La-Tex Junior Golf Tour opens its 10-event summer season on Monday, June 1 with an adult/youth event at Alpine Golf Club in Longview. The tour features divisions for male and female golfers, and Tournament of Champions entries are available for those meeting the participation criteria + organizers can be contacted for more details.
