- ➤ The Ark-La-Tex Tattoo and Art Expo opened Friday at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center in Longview and runs through today. The expo features live tattooing by 150 artists, daily giveaways, competitions, art exhibits, food vendors, and independent judges awarding prizes in over 20 categories—culminating with the Best of Show award on its final day. - ➤ Longview High School kicked off its graduation season Friday night at Lobo Stadium with a ceremony that honored valedictorian Diego D’Arbell, who will study electrical engineering at Stanford, and salutatorian Jagar Duran, who will major in accounting and finance at UT Austin's McCombs School of Business—scholarships of more than $5.8 million for nearly 500 seniors were announced—marking a proud milestone for the school.
