- ➤ Kelly Hall, president and CEO of the Longview Chamber of Commerce, said that Texas faces a childcare crisis that leads to worker shortages—forcing many small business owners to experience absences and lost business opportunities. The Employers for Childcare Task Force has filed four bills to ease childcare costs and offer tax credits that will support working families. Longview News-Journal

- ➤ Gregg County sheriff's office reported that Mykos Chandler went missing after leaving his Kilgore home on April 11 while traveling from the Longview Amtrak Station to Poplar Bluff — he was expected to arrive early on April 12 and anyone with information is urged to call the sheriff at 903-236-8400. - ➤ Special education students shone on April 17th at Lobo Stadium during Longview ISD's Special Education Track and Field Day.
