ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On Friday, an EF2 tornado tore through Lone Star near Ellison Creek Reservoir, and Mayor Brianna McClain issued a mandatory curfew as between 40 and 50 families were displaced and crews worked to restore power while a local church campgrounds suffered extensive damage including snapped trees and cars thrown hundreds of feet away—no injuries were reported.  KETK

  • Cidni Fussell recounted suffering abuse for years by her biological father, Justin Howard, who was sentenced by a Gregg County jury to 100 years in prison for multiple sexual assault charges—marking a long-awaited moment of justice for her.  Longview News-Journal
