- ➤ ETX View announced the 40 Under Forty winners and runners-up on Saturday morning in a ceremony held at its Tyler and Longview offices. The awards honor young professionals who excel in their fields and give back to the community following a nomination and daily voting phase. Longview News-Journal
- ➤ On Monday, the East Texas Food Bank and SWEPCO Foundation rebranded the Longview Resource Center & now provide food assistance to many amid rising insecurity. The center at 2900 Signal Hill Drive is open Tuesday-Thursday and Friday with set hours for resident visits. Longview News-Journal

- ➤ Nancy Kowalski was named president and CEO of INVISTA at the Huntsman Way facility and will replace retiring Brook Vickery on March 1. Morgan White was honored as Employee of the Month at East Texas Professional Credit Union, and UT Tyler's pharmacy college graduates passed the NAPLEX at a 95.5% rate. Longview News-Journal

- ➤ Spring Hill ISD voters will decide on May 2 whether to approve about $20 million in bonds to repair and upgrade schools without raising property taxes, according to school officials. Trustees unanimously backed the proposal to fund key improvements (junior high repairs and bus replacements) while keeping current debt levels. Longview News-Journal

- ➤ The Lady Lobos won 3–0 over North Forney on Monday during Senior Night as Sophie Brinkman earned her fifth shutout (improving their record to 12–2), while the boys Lobos won 3–1 with goals from Eric Godoy and Jorge Massare and will face Rockwall next Tuesday. Longview News-Journal
- ➤ The Longview Lady Lobos ended their regular season with a 59-56 win over Royse City on Tuesday as Jailiyah Rockmore scored 22 points with key support from teammates, while district boys games also featured tight wins ahead of upcoming playoffs. Longview News-Journal
- ➤ Spring Hill Lady Panthers rallied late to beat Chapel Hill 52-50 Tuesday at Panther Gymnasium, tying the teams at the top of District 16-4A + they will play for the district’s top seed on Friday with time and location to be confirmed. Longview News-Journal
- ➤ In Gladewater, the Spring Hill Lady Panthers won the girls' title at the Sabine Invitational at Tempest Golf Club on Tuesday, Feb. 10, and White Oak clinched the boys' team win. Longview News-Journal
- ➤ The Spring Hill Lady Panthers opened their softball season on Tuesday with a 5-2 win over the Marshall Lady Mavericks, as Lila Peters homered, tripled & drove in three runs; teammates also contributed with key hits and solid pitching. Longview News-Journal
