- ➤ Longview and Gregg County leaders have announced a multi-month celebration for the nation’s 250th birthday, which starts April 11 with a Chautauqua Festival at the Public Library (free event) and features Dalton Days reenactments, a community parade, and concludes July 4 with the largest fireworks display.
